(Through
this QT I see the painful power of Anguish)
‘They
Do Not Really Mean It.’
Ezekiel
33:30-32.
a)
Ezekiel 33:3o. The people were talking to each
other to go to Ezekiel and to hear the Word of the Lord.
b)
Ezekiel 33:31. The people came to Ezekiel
pretending to listen to him and flattering him. They had covetous hearts.
c)
Ezekiel 33:32. The people heard the songs and
speeches of Ezekiel but they would
not apply them to their lives.
(This
Second one is an important lesson for todays Church: They Do Not Really Mean
It)
Chris.
Anguish
has a painful power to it that can really harm people’s lives if it is not
properly dealt with. Some people who suffer anguish are pretending to be like
heroes and do not disclose their feelings, this is also harmful for the
emotions. We need to be able to come to the Lord with our anguish, maybe
together with some True Believers whom we trust and pray the anguish out and
away.
