‘The
Longsuffering Of Jesus Christ.’
1
Timothy 1:16.
a)
Apostle Paul and every True
Believer, have found Mercy.
b)
Jesus Christ shows
longsuffering to all of us.
c)
This is a pattern that we
need to understand and to be so grateful to Him for.
d)
This is for all those
people who are going to Believe on Jesus Christ for Everlasting Life.
(This QT causes me to be reminded of The Longsuffering Of Jesus
Christ)
‘Living The New Life In Christ.’
Colossians 3:2-12.
a)
Colossians 3:2. We set our
minds on things above, not on things on the Earth.
b)
Colossians 3:3. Our life is
now hidden with Christ in God, our “old” person is now dead.
c)
Colossians 3:4. When
Christ, Who is our Life appears, we shall also appear with Him in Glory.
d)
Colossians 3:5. We are to
put to death our earthly things:-
1-
Fornication.
2-
Uncleanness.
3-
Passion.
4-
Evil desire.
5-
Covetousness, which is idolatry.
e)
Colossians 3:6. Because of
these things the Wrath of God will come upon ungodly people.
f)
Colossians 3:7. Maybe we
lived like that in the past, but in Christ the past is past.
g)
Colossians 3:8. We are to
put off these:-
1-
Anger.
2-
Wrath.
3-
Malice.
4-
Blasphemy.
5-
Filthy language out of our mouth.
h)
Colossians 3:9. We are not
to lie to one another, since we have put off the old man with his deeds.
i)
Colossians 3:10. We have
put on the new person who is renewed in Knowledge according to the Image of Him
Who created him.
j)
Colossians 3:11. Now there
is no discrimination, Christ is All and is in all.
k)
Colossians 3:12. Now, as
the Elect of God, Holy and Beloved people, we are to put on:-
1-
Tender mercies.
2-
Kindness.
3-
Humility.
4-
Meekness.
5-
Long suffering.
(This Second
one encourages me to be Living The New Life In Christ)
Chris.
We are not to lie to
one another this is the behaviour of the old person who does not know Christ.
The Lord hates lies. He is a God of Truth. His Truth brings freedom to us. When
we live in Truth we live in Freedom and openness. When Christian leaders are
caught telling lies, they are bringing disrepute to God’s Kingdom.
