‘Paul Not Hymenaeus And Alexander.’
1 Timothy 1:18-20.
a) 1 Timothy 1:18. This was
a command given by Apostle Paul to Timothy.
b) 1 Timothy 1:18. Apostle
Paul trusted Timothy to obey it.
c) 1 Timothy 1:18. Timothy
was to remember the Prophecies given concerning him.
d) 1 Timothy 1:18. With
these Prophecies he was to fight the good fight of Faith.
e) 1 Timothy 1:19. Timothy
was to keep Faith and a Good Conscience.
f) 1 Timothy 1:19. Some
people rejected this Message and they suffered shipwreck in regard to their
Faith.
g) 1 Timothy 1:20. This was
the case of Hymenaeus and Alexander whom Apostle Paul handed over to Satan that
they would not be taught to blaspheme.
(Through this QT I
choose to follow the way of Paul Not Hymenaeus And Alexander)
---------------
‘Not Grieving The
Holy Spirit.’
Ephesians 4:30-32.
a) Ephesians 4:30. We are
not to grieve the Holy Spirit by Whom we are sealed for the Day of Redemption.
b) Ephesians 4:31. There are
things that we need to put away from us:-
1- Bitterness.
2- Anger.
3- Wrath.
4- Shouting.
5- Slander.
6- Malice.
c) Ephesians 4:32. To each
other we are to be tender hearted and forgiving, just as God in Christ has
forgiven us.
(Through this Second one I know the importance of Not
Grieving The Holy Spirit)
---------------
Chris.
With the Prophetic words given to him Timothy was to fight
the good fight of Faith. The Bible teaches us that ALL prophecy is given for
edification, exhortation and comfort. Any prophecy that falls outside this
clear boundary is false, it is either the words of human effort or may even be
satanically inspired. We live in the days of manifestations of the Holy Spirit
in many ways but we also need to be on our guard. For every gift of the Holy
Spirit Satan has a counterfeit. We need the Word of God as well as the Holy
Spirit.
