(This QT answers my question: How Am I Saved?)
‘Salvation And Peace Comes In A Hostile Environment.’
Luke 7:36-50.
a)
Luke 7:36. Jesus went to
eat at Simon the Pharisee’s home. He went there with a hidden purpose which was
to be revealed.
b)
Luke 7:37-38. A notorious
woman who knew that Jesus had gone to Simon the Pharisee’s house went there too
and began to lovingly minister personally to Jesus.
c)
Luke 7:39. Because of the
woman’s action and Jesus’ response Simon the Pharisee began to doubt Jesus.
d)
Luke 7:40-46. Jesus knew
exactly what Simon the Pharisee was thinking and He responded to it.
e)
Luke 7:47-48. Jesus
forgave this woman her many sins.
f)
Luke 7:49. The people at
the meal table were amazed at what Jesus said and did in forgiving her sins.
g)
Luke 7:50. Jesus said to
the woman that her Faith had Saved her and she could go in Peace.
(Through this
Second one I see that it is possible for Salvation And Peace To Come In A
Hostile Environment)
Chris.
We are Saved
through Faith. Faith is a very important factor on the pathway to Salvation.
Without Faith it is impossible to please God and without Faith it is impossible
to be Saved. All people can have Faith because Faith comes, it comes through
hearing the Word of God.
