God Will Bless You For Doing Them!

'God Will Bless You For Doing Them.'
John 13:7-17.
a)  John 13:7. The Disciples did not always readily understand what Jesus was doing.
b)  John 13:8. Peter initially protested and initially refused to let Jesus wash his feet.
c)  John 13:8. Jesus replied to Peter that unless He washed him, Peter would not belong to Him.
d)  John 13:9. Peter then exclaimed to Jesus that He should wash:-
1-Not only his feet.
2-Also his hands.
3-Also his head.
e)  John 13:10. Jesus explained that a clean person only needs their feet to be washed but there was someone amongst the Disciple group who was not clean.
f)  John 13:11. Jesus was speaking about Judas Iscariot.
g)  John 13:12. Jesus:-
1-Washed their feet.
2-Put on His Robe.
3-Sat down.
4-Asked if the Disciples understood what He was doing.
h)  John 13:13-14. Jesus, the Disciples' Master, washed His Disciples' feet. They should wash each other's feet too.
i)  John 13:15. Jesus leads by examples which need to be followed.
j)  John 13:16. Here is Truth, slaves are not greater than their master and messengers are not more important than the person who sends the message.
k)  John 13:17. When we know Truth, we need to do it, then God will Bless us.
(Peter asked Jesus to was his hands. Do we have dirty hands? If so, we need to correct and cleanse ourselves from our dirty handed activities and then God Will Bless Us For Doing It)

'God Knows And God Plans.'
Exodus 3:9-10.
a)  God beheld the cries of the Children of Israel, they came up to Him. They were crying out to Him for aid.
b)  God saw how the Children of Israel were being oppressed.
c)  God:-
1-Called Moses to come to Himself.
2-Was preparing Moses to send him to the Egyptian Pharaoh.
3-Had a Plan to use Moses to lead the Children of Israel out of Egypt.
(Through this Second one I have confidence that God Knows And God Plans)

Chris.
Jesus Christ very often sat down to Teach. There is a clear example for us here. In recent years I have had physical weakness that has necessitated in me having to sit down to Teach. This is not my choice - I have to do it. I personally believe that whatever our activity in Church Worship and Ministry, the most important thing is the attitude of our heart and not our physical limitation(s). We should all be looking to the Lord and not at one another.
