i) Psalm 20:1. His Name is a source of protection for us.

a) John 8:34. Jesus said that everyone who commits sin is the bond servant of sin.
b) John 8:35. The bond servant is not a member of the family forever. The child is a member of the family forever.
c) John 8:36. If the Son of God, Jesus Christ, makes us free, we shall be free indeed.

Abiding in God is a two way Relationship with Him. We abide in God and He abides in us. This has nothing temporal about it. This Relationship with and in God has been made possible for us by what Christ has done for us on the Cross. It is all worked through and out by the Holy Spirit Who dwells in us. Let us Rejoice because of our Abiding in God.
