For some people, even in retirement, the pressure is still on. There really has to be another way of life, this "other" way is found in Jesus Christ, knowing and living for Him as our Lord and Saviour.
This alternative way of life is not just found in Church attendance, it is primarily found in a personal relationship with God through Bible Reading and Prayer. Attending the good Church is beneficial for our relationship with God, we can grow well in a spiritually "healthy" Church.
The Church, however, should not be a place where we are dominated, controlled, or put to sleep, it should the place where we can find, Bible Teaching, Fellowship and a place of mutual, effective and strengthening Prayer.
