James 2:6-9.

c)  James 2:8. It is good that we obey the Royal Law that is found in the Scriptures: Love your neighbour as yourself.
d)  James 2:9. If we favour some people over others, we are committing a sin. We are guilty of breaking God’s Law.

If we favour some people over others, we are committing a sin. This verse is especially important for Church Leaders. Some Leaders are tempted to pay much attention to the wealthy people in the Church but tend to ignore the poorer people. This is not good, the wealthy people can easily recognise what is going on and they feel uncomfortable. The poor people feel rejected and hopeless, even in Church.
