Leviticus
19:18.
a) We are not to take vengeance or bear a grudge
against any of our own people. (True Believers)
b) We should Love our neighbour as we love
ourselves.
c) God is the Lord.

Genesis 6:6.
a) The Lord was sorry that He had made man on the
Earth.
b) It grieved Him.
c) To His Heart.

The Lord’s Painful Heart. It is
very clear from both the Old and New Testaments that God Himself can be grieved
and have a painful heart. This condition comes to Him because of His Own
People. This is not from non-believers. Our Loving Heavenly Father wants to
resolve our issues with Him under the Protective Care of His Love. Firstly, we
actually need to repent if necessary.
