More Than Restoration!

‘More Than Restoration.’
Isaiah 23:15-18.
a)        Isaiah 23:15. Tyre was going to be forgotten for seventy years.
b)       Isaiah 23:15. At the end of seventy years there would be a worldly song for Tyre.
c)        Isaiah 23:16. The song was the song of a prostitute:-
“Take a harp;
    go about the city,
    O forgotten prostitute!
Make sweet melody;
    sing many songs,
    that you may be remembered.”
d)       Isaiah 23:17. At the end of seventy years, the Lord will visit Tyre, and she will return to her wages and will prostitute herself with all the kingdoms of the world on the face of the earth.
e)        Isaiah 23:18. The Lord’s People would gather everything from Tyre and would become prosperous from it. There was an abundant supply of fine food and clothing for those people who dwell before the Lord.

Chris.
For the Joy that was set before Him Jesus endured the Cross. There are only a few places in the World today where True Believers have to face a cross or something like it and suffer a tortuous death. But there are many places where True Believers face very painful and terrible persecution. In order to endure these people need the Joy of the Lord in their hearts, especially regarding God’s Gift of Eternal Life and they need other True Believers to pray for them.
