a) This kind of hearing comes from the heart and not from the ears. The white stone was a stone of acceptance and the black stone a stone of rejection.
b) The white stone was given by the Lord to these victorious Pergamum Believers. Those who have overcome the World system. The white stone had so many positive meanings.
c) Isaiah 62:2. They were also given a new name.
d) The Lord gave these Overcomers some of the hidden manna to eat.
e) John 6:41. The Hidden Manna was the True Bread from Heaven.

a) Ziba together with his family and servants were to look after all of Mephibosheth's family provisions.

When reading or studying the Word of God it does us good to look into the various meanings if we have the time to do so. We should not just glibly glance at the Scriptures. For our Life and Godliness these Holy Bible Scriptures are very necessary and helpful. We should never think that just listening 'lightly' to a Sunday Sermon is going to help us to grow spiritually.
