High Mountains!


'High Mountains.'
a)  Isaiah 57:7; Jeremiah 3:6. Were sometimes places of idolatry.
b)  Isaiah 58:14. May be the seat of the Ruling Government.
c)  Jeremiah 17:12. God's Temple is like a Glorious Throne standing on a high mountain.
d)  Ezekiel 17:22-23. God plants cedar twigs on the top of a high and lofty mountain.
e)  Ezekiel 20:40. A High Mountain was the place of the declaration of the Lord God.
f)  Ezekiel 34:14. God's Sheep are protected on the High Mountains of Israel.
g)  Ezekiel 40:2. Ezekiel was taken by the Lord in a vision to the top of a High Mountain.
h)  Matthew 4:8; Luke 4:5. Jesus was taken by the Devil to the top of a very High Mountain.
i)  Matthew 17:1; Mark 9:2. Up to a High Mountain Jesus took:-
1-Peter.
2-James.
3-John.
j)  Revelation 21:10. John was taken by the Holy Spirit to the top of a very High Mountain.

b)  All the things that we are commanded to do.
c)  We can only say.
d)  That we are unprofitable servants.
e)  We have done.
f)  What it was our duty to do.

When I was a young man I used to enjoy getting to the tops of mountains. (Not huge mountains just high mountains) God's created nature at the tops of these mountains was delightfully different from the lowlands. There were also the views, often when there was no mist or clouds the views were amazing. Wonderful Creator God!
