'Father God's Unspoiled Children.'
Hebrews 12:9-11.
a) Hebrews 12:9. Our human fathers disciplined and corrected us. We respected them for it. If father or mother shows favouritism to on of their children at the expense of another, that is really not good.
b) Hebrews 12:9. How much more should we pay respect to the Father of our spirits and live?
c) Hebrews 12:10. Our natural fathers chastened and disciplined us in the way that they thought best.
d) Hebrews 12:10. Father God does this all for our good, that we may share in His Holiness.
e) Hebrews 12:11. No chastening seems to be joyful for the present, but painful.
f) Hebrews 12:11. After these times of chastening our lives produce a harvest of Righteousness and Peace.

We will live in every positive way if we pay respect to the Father of our spirits. Love is, of course, an important part of our relationships with both our natural father and our Father God. Equally as important is Respect. We need to be able to respect our natural father, and if we cannot, or could not, then God wants to restore us, whatever the reason may be.
