2 Timothy 2:9.

Apostle Paul was chained
like a criminal because he preached the Good News.
b)
Apostle Paul knew that
the Word of God could not be chained.

Apostle Paul suffered
hardship.

Apostle Paul expected
that Timothy would have to suffer in a similar way.

Apostle Paul’s comfort
was that the Word of God could not be bound.

Through Apostle Paul’s
experience we can realise that for the persecuted Ministers the Word of God is
more important than “freedom” or life.

There are many
things that we can learn from the words of other people and that is an
excellent way of learning. There are also opportunities for us to learn from
the experiences of other people too. This was the principle here that Apostle
Paul was teaching Timothy. Let us learn the things that we need to learn from
the experiences of other people too.
