‘Loving
One Another.’
Romans
13:8-10.
a) Romans 13:8. We should owe nobody anything
except to Love one another.
b) Romans 13:9. Loving our neighbour as we love
ourselves is summed up in:-
1- Not committing adultery.
2- Not committing murder.
3- Not stealing.
4- Not coveting.
c) Romans 13:10. Love does no wrong to a
neighbour.
d) Romans 13:10. Love is the fulfilment of the
Law.
(Through this QT I can see the importance of Loving One Another)
‘Apostle Paul’s Weakness Was Also His Strength.’
a) 2 Corinthians 10:10. The Corinthian Church saw
him as a physically weak person.
b) 2 Corinthians 10:11. Apostle Paul’s actions
and letters were not weak.
c) Galatians 5:10. Apostle Paul wanted the
Galatia Church to be free from all wrong concepts. False “teachings” bring
confusion.
d) 2 Corinthians 12:7. Apostle Paul also
ministered when he was infirm.
e) 1 Corinthians 2:3. Even when Apostle Paul
first went to Corinth, he went in physical weakness.
(Through this Second
one I am so Blessed: Apostle Paul’s Weakness Was Also His Strength)
Chris.
When a person loves they do
not commit adultery. This is a clear and resounding Voice that comes to us from
the Scripture. It is impossible to be loving and also committing adultery at
the same time. Any alternative thought about this is already a deception. This is
why the Church needs to deal compassionately and without shame with this
problem. Not just hiding it, nor just publicly causing embarrassment to the
guilty parties but, rather, bringing restoration, cleansing and healing into
the situation. Only when a person refuses to confess proven adultery, then they
should be excommunicated from the Church.
