When a person loves they do not commit adultery. This is a clear and resounding Voice that comes to us from the Scripture. It is impossible to be loving and also committing adultery at the same time. Not just hiding it, nor just publicly causing embarrassment to the guilty parties but, rather, bringing restoration, cleansing and healing into the situation. Only when a person refuses to confess proven adultery, then they should be excommunicated from the Church.
