2 Timothy 3:1-5.

2 Timothy 3:1. We are now living in difficult
times.
b)
2 Timothy 3:2. We are to avoid:-
1-
Lovers of
self.
2-
Lovers of
money.
3-
Boastful
people.
4-
Arrogant people.
5-
People
who are given to bitter words.
6-
People
who go against the Authority of their fathers.
7-
People
who are ungrateful.
8-
People
who are unholy.
c)
2 Timothy 3:3. We are to avoid people who:-
1-
Are unloving.
2-
Refuse to
reconcile.
3-
Are malicious
gossips.
4-
Are
without self control.
5-
Are
brutal.
6-
Are
haters of God.
d)
2 Timothy 3:4. We are to avoid people who:-
1-
Are
treacherous.
2-
Are
reckless.
3-
Are
conceited.
4-
Are
lovers of pleasure more than lovers of God.
e)
2 Timothy 3:5. We are to avoid people who hold
on to a form of godliness but deny its power.
f)
2 Timothy 3:5. All these people were to be
avoided by and in the Early Church.
(Through
this QT I need to judge myself in accordance with God’s Word, for it reveals
the reasons why Church is so unpopular today. God is not the problem, it is the
“Christians” that are the problem: People To Avoid)

All those people were to be avoided by and in the Early Church.
This is quite an “eye opener” for the Churches today. Some cynical people may
say that if we avoided these people then there would be no one in Church. I do
not think that Apostle Paul intended that at all. Paul simply wanted to see
pure and real Churches living in the Fear of the Lord. The result of this will
be Church Growth.
