Revelation 6:8.
a) John saw a pale horse.
b) The rider was named 'Death'.
c) Hades was following close behind death.
d) Hades and Death were given power over a quarter of the Earth.
e) To kill by:-
1-Sword.
2-Famine.
3-Plague.
4-Wild beasts.

'Given By The Authority Of The Lord Jesus.'
Matthew 10:1.
a) Jesus called His twelve Disciples to Him.
b) He gave them authority.
c) This was uniquely given to them:-
1-Authority over unclean spirits.
2-Authority to heal all manner of disease.
3-Authority to heal all manner of illness.
4-Authority to heal all manner of sickness.
(This Second one amazes me! Those things that were Given By The Authority Of The Lord Jesus)

The rider was named 'Death'. This is not something that is enjoyable to write about or read but it is something that we all have to face. One thing is very sure, 'Death' can only do what the Lord permits it to do. Jesus came to give Life and we need to follow His Way.
