'Our Life In A Dark Valley.'
Psalm 23:4.
a) Even though we walk through a very dark valley.
b) We will not be afraid.
c) The Lord is with us.
d) The Lord has a Shepherd's rod and staff.
e) They comfort us.

2 Peter 2:19.
a) These people promise others 'freedom'.
b) They themselves are slaves of depravity and corruption.
c) People are slaves to whatever has mastered them.
(This Second one alerts me to watch out for Slaves Who Promise Freedom.

God wants to Comfort His Children in every circumstance that they may face. If "all is well" with us then we still need the Comfort of God, the assurance that He is with us. If we are walking through a dark valley, we need the Comfort of God. If we have a bad marriage, we need the comfort of God. If we have lost a loved one, we need the Comfort of God and if we are struggling with sickness or infirmity, we need the comfort of God. God wants to Comfort His Children.
