'Jesus Christ - The Sent One.'
Isaiah 61:1-3.
a)  Isaiah 61:1.  The Spirit of the Lord was upon Jesus Christ.
b)  Isaiah 61:1. He was anointed to the:-
1-Poor.
2-Suffering.
3-Afflicted.
c)  Isaiah 61:1. He has come to comfort the broken hearted.
d)  Isaiah 61:1. He has come to proclaim freedom for the captives.
e)  Isaiah 61:1. He has come to bring release from darkness for the blind.
f)  Isaiah 61:2. He has come to proclaim the year of the Lord's favour.
g)  Isaiah 61:2. He has come to proclaim the day of vengeance of our God.
h)  Isaiah 61:2. He has come to comfort all who mourn.
i)  Isaiah 61:3. He has come to provide for those people who grieve in Zion:-
1-A crown of beauty instead of ashes.
2-Oil of joy instead of mourning.
3-A garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair.
j)  Isaiah 61:3. They will be called Oaks of Righteousness, a planting of the Lord, for the display of His Splendour.

b)  This is about meek people.
c)  They will rejoice in the Lord.
d)  They will be filled with fresh Joy in the Lord.
e)  The poor and needy will rejoice in the Holy One of Israel.

Jesus Christ has come to comfort the broken hearted people. This is one of the most common problems that face people today. Churches are often filled with broken hearted people, because Church attracts such people. Many times these people are neglected and they suffer for months, or even years with their broken heart.
