1 John 2:24.
a) As for you... John was still writing to the family of God which he loved so much.
b) Continue to follow the Teaching.
c) That they heard from the beginning.
d) If this Truth remains in them.
e) This remaining Truth will cause them to abide in the Son and the Father.

'Hope And Love.'
Romans 5:5.
a) Hope does not put us to shame.
b) God pours out His Love to fill our hearts.
c) This is done by the Holy Spirit.
d) Who dwells in every True Believer.
(This Second on fills my heart with Thanksgiving to God for His Hope And Love)

In our own strength and wisdom it is impossible for us to abide in the Son and the Father. This is one of the realities that show us our need of Truth. God's Word is Truth. As we feed on the Word of God this Word creates a response to the Love of God. We need to continue to follow the Teachings of God.
