David's Forsakenness!

Psalm 22:1.
a)  David's cry was to God.
b)  He felt that God had forsaken him.
c)  He felt that God was so far away from saving him.
d)  He cried with anguish but there was no answer from God.

Hebrews 13:21.
a)  Equip and Perfect us in every good work for the doing of His Will.
b)  May He work in us what is pleasing to Him.
c)  He does this through Jesus Christ.
d)  To Whom be Glory for ever and ever.

We sometimes cannot understand why God allows sad stories and events to be recorded in His Scriptures. The Bible is not simply "a book of blessing" - it is far more than that. The Bible is God's Own Word, written to help us in every situation of our lives. Written to help us Worship God. Written to show us how to live in this World as a True Believer. The sad stories teach us that God understands and supports us in sad and devastating events in our lives.
