'It Cannot Save Us From Our Sorrows.'
Isaiah 46:6-7.
a) Some people pour gold out of their bags.
b) They weigh out silver on their scales.
c) They:-
1-Hire someone who works with gold to make it into a god.
2-Bow down to it.
3-Worship it.
4-Lift in onto their shoulders.
5-Carry it.
6-Set it up into its place.
d) It stands there in its place.
e) It cannot move from that spot.
f) If someone cries out to it.
g) It does not answer them.
h) It cannot save them from their troubles.
(This QT assures me that It Cannot Save Me From My Troubles)

'This Is How We Should Live.'
Ephesians 5:8.
a) We are no longer in darkness and bondage.
b) We are now in the Light.
c) Because of what the Lord has done.
d) So now we should live like children of the Light.
(I know through this Second one that This Is How I Should Live)

Sometimes people pay out vast sums of money just to have an idol made of silver or gold. This will not help them in any way spiritually or make them rich or richer. The Salvation of the Lord that gives us Eternal Life also costs. It cost the price of the Life of Jesus Christ. All that Christ went trough and achieved for us means that, if we Trust in Him we have two precious gifts, firstly, forgiveness of our sins and secondly, Eternal Life.
