Wages!

‘Wages.’
a) Proverbs 10:16. Of a Righteous Person bring them life.
b) Genesis 30:33. Should be handled with honesty.
c) Leviticus 19:13; James 5:4. Should be paid promptly.
d) Deuteronomy 23:18. Earned by dogs should not be brought into the House of God.
e) Exodus 29:19. Can be earned by the colonisation of another country in the Will of God.
f) Romans 6:23. Of sin is death.
g) 2 Peter 2:15. Of wickedness we should not love.
(This QT shows me how much God cares about the payment of wages and how we should treat them)

‘Jesus Loves Little Children.’
Mark 10:13-16.
a) Mark 10:13. People brought the little children to Jesus for Him to touch them.
b) Mark 10:13. The Disciples rebuked the people.
c) Mark 10:14. Jesus was indignant at the Disciples action here.
d) Mark 10:14. Jesus said:-
1- Let the little children come to Him.
2- Do not hinder them.
3- The Kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as the little children.
e) Mark 10:15. I tell you the Truth, anyone who will not receive the Kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it, was what Jesus exclaimed.
f) Mark 10:16. Jesus:-
1- Took the little children in His Arms.
2- Put His hands on them.
3- Blessed them.
(This Second one convinces me of the Truth that Jesus Loves The Little Children)

The Ways of God in the Nations are beyond our understanding. Sometimes our mind sets are too set and rigid. We believe what tradition says or what our culture says rather than what God’s Word says. We find this in the Old and New Testaments if we read them carefully. Let us Biblically investigate before we get stuck in beliefs that are not Biblical.
