The Blessing Of The Lord!


‘The Blessing Of The Lord.’
a) Proverbs 10:22. Makes a person rich and He adds no sorrow with it.
b) Genesis 39:5. Can be on all that we have in the house and in the field.
c) Deuteronomy 12:15. Provides our meat.
d) Deuteronomy 16:17. We give to God and to others according to the Blessing of the Lord upon us.
e) Deuteronomy 33:23. Can fill us.
f) Psalm 129:8. Is a spoken Blessing, we can say to other Believers: “The Blessing of the Lord be upon you.”
(This QT makes me treasure and desire for The Blessing Of The Lord.’

‘Obed – David’s Grandfather.’
The name means “serving”.
Ruth 4:13-17.
a) Ruth 4:13. Was the child of Boz and Ruth.
b) Ruth 4:14. Naomi was Blessed and acknowledged through his birth.
c) Ruth 4:15. God had a special plan for him in caring for Naomi.
d) Ruth 4:16. Naomi cared for Obed as if he were her own child.
e) Ruth 4:17. The neighbours were also Blessed by his birth.
(Through this Second one I have awe of God’s ways in families: Obed – David’s Grandfather)
