‘Favour In Their Sight.’
a) Esther 2:15. Esther gained favour in the sight of all those people who looked upon her.
b) Genesis 33:8 & 15. Jacob tried to find it from Esau.
c) Genesis 39:21. The keeper of the prison gave it to Joseph because the Lord was with Joseph.
d) Genesis 47:25. The Israeli people asked for it in Joseph’s sight.
e) Exodus 3:21; 11:3; 12:36. God’s people were to be given it by the Lord in the sight of the Egyptians.
f) 1 Kings 11:19. Hadad found it in the sight of Pharaoh.
g) Esther 5:8. Esther found it in the sight of the king.
h) Acts 7:45-46. David found it in the sight of God.
(This QT teaches me that when we Find Favour In Their Sight it really comes only from the Lord)

‘Promotion.’
a) Esther 3:1. To a place of high Authority.
b) 1 Kings 14:7. From the ranks of common people to become a ruler.
c) Esther 5:11. Can cover many areas of our lives.
d) Daniel 2:48. May be accompanied by many gifts.
(This Second reminds me that Promotion is something that we should respond to humbly)

Sometimes we are aware of people looking at us and it makes us feel uncomfortable. Often the people looking at us are people who we do not know well or at all. It is good not to focus our attention on those people or to be afraid of them, rather we should carefully look away from them and, if we so desire, move away from them if it is possible.
