‘Be Righteous.’
Proverbs 10:20-21.
a) The tongue of the Righteous People is as choice silver and their lips feed many people.
b) The heart of the wicked is of little worth.
c) Fools die for lack of sense.

‘Do Not Walk In Darkness.’
a) 1 John 2:9; 4:20; 3:14-15. Whoever says he is in the light and hates his brother is still in darkness.
b) Romans 13:12. Cast off the works of darkness and put on the armour of Light.
c) Ephesians 5:8. We are to walk as children of Light.
d) 1 Thessalonians 5:4. If we are walking in darkness then the Day of the Coming of the Lord will surprise us as a thief.
e) Titus 3:3. The old self no more.

People need God and His Word. The Word we read today is very clear and simple. In Christ we should live as Righteous People who speak well and edify other people with our speech. People who say that they live in the Light of God should live in the Light of God. Believing People need to cast off the works of darkness and put on the Armour of Light. Believing People should live a New Life in Jesus Christ and entertain their old self no more.
