Uprightness!


‘Uprightness.’
a) Proverbs 17:26. Should never be punished.
b) Deuteronomy 9:5. Is what God expects of us and not what God rewards us for.
c) 1 Kings 3:6; 9:4. King David was a good example of it.
d) 1 Chronicles 29:17. God has pleasure in our uprightness.
e) Job 33:23. God is looking for messengers to show His uprightness to humanity.
f) Psalm 9:8. God judges in it.
g) Psalm 25:21. It can preserve people.
h) Psalm 119:7. We should Praise God with uprightness of heart.
i) Proverbs 14:2. If we have it we will fear the Lord.

Our Affections Should Be Set.’
Colossians 3:1-3.
a) Colossians 3:1. We are raised to New Life with Christ.
b) Colossians 3:1. We should set our hearts on Heaven’s Principles.
c) Colossians 3:1. Christ sits in Heaven at the Right Hand of God.
d) Colossians 3:2. We need to set our hearts and minds on the Heavenly things and not on the earthly.
e) Colossians 3:3. We, our old man, has died.
f) Colossians 3:3. Our life is hidden with Christ in God.

God Judges in uprightness. The standards that people use are often different to God’s standards. If we are True Believers we need to live by God’s standards, anything less than that is compromise and therefore sin. God is always Just and Right and we should trust Him.
