Real Deacons In The Old Testament!


‘Real Deacons In The Old Testament.’
1 Chronicles 24:19 or 31. (Depending on your version)
a) They were officially registered for their tasks.
b) They would go into the temple.
c) They would perform the duties and procedures established for them.
d) They would be in obedience to the Commands of the Lord.
(This QT reveals to me Real Deacons In The Old Testament)

‘The Angel Gabriel.’
(His Name means Man of God)
a) Luke 1:26. He was sent by God to Galilee.
b) Daniel 8:16. He was a Messenger with the Word of God.
c) Daniel 9:21. He came at a time of Prayer.
d) Luke 1:19. He stands in the Presence of God and is a bringer of Good News.
(Through this Second one I understand more about The Angel Gabriel)

Real Deacons are very precious. Although they are first called “Deacons” in the New Testament the Ministry of Deacons goes back into the life of the Temple in the Old Testament. Deacons were never meant to be “do as I please” people, they are supposed to have specific functions which they willingly do as obedience to the Lord. Deacons should never be man appointed but rather they should be God appointed.
