1 Corinthians 7:21-23.
a) Were you a slave when you were called?
b) Don't let it trouble you.
c) Although, if you can gain your freedom, do so.
d) For the one who was a slave when called to the Lord is the Lord's free person;
e) Similarly, the one who was free when called is Christ's slave.
f) You were bought at a price;
g) Do not become slaves of human beings.

The Gospel is Good News but an old story. It is a message that is both ageless and changeless. This Gospel, if we believe it, brings us into fellowship with God through Jesus Christ. Nothing is changed... the Gospel is the Power of God unto Salvation for all people who Believe it. This is another reason why we are told: "Go into all the World and Preach the Gospel.
