(This QT urges me to Cry Out To The Lord)
PRAY: Crying out to the Lord.

'Rejoice In The Day Of Deliverance.'
2 Samuel 22:1.
a) And David spoke to the Lord
b) The words of this song
c) On the day when the Lord delivered him
d) From the hand of all his enemies,
e) And from the hand of Saul.
(This Second one reminds me to Rejoice In The Day Of Deliverance)
PRAY: To respond to the Lord well In The Day Of Deliverance.

There is so much for us to learn when we read the historical books of the Old Testament! We find in this Second one a very positive and healthy response, the response of King David on the Day when the Lord delivered him. Whatever kind of deliverance that the Lord may give to us, it is always good to respond to it positively and with rejoicing. Sometimes, the Lord delivers us by sending us away somewhere, even by flight, as in the picture!
