Reading And Listening!


‘Reading And Listening.’
Proverbs 22:17-21.
a) Proverbs 22:17. Listen to the words of the wise people.
b) Proverbs 22:17. Apply our hearts to good instruction.
c) Proverbs 22:18. It is good to keep the sayings that we have heard in our hearts.
d) Proverbs 22:19. Be taught today, so that we can Trust in the Lord.
e) Proverbs 22:20. Read the sayings that are filled with advice and knowledge.
f) Proverbs 22:21. If we follow this way we will know the Truth.
g) Proverbs 22:21. If we follow this way we will have an accurate report for those people who sent us.

‘Keep Our Eyes On Jesus.
Hebrews 12:2.
a) He is the Champion Who initiates our Faith.
b) He is the Champion Who perfects our Faith.
c) Because of the Joy awaiting Him He endured the Cross.
d) Because of the Joy awaiting Him He disregarded the shame of the Cross.
e) Now Jesus is seated at the place of Honour besides God’s Throne.
(This Second one reminds me to Keep My Eyes On Jesus)

We should follow good and sensible ways with our lives. It is better to listen and to read than to talk. When we listen and read we can learn many things that will benefit our lives. Fellowship and friendship is good but it must be exercises together in balance with listening and reading.
