Wisdom Is!


‘Wisdom Is.’
a) Proverbs 10:13. Found on the lips of a person who has understanding.
b) Job 12:12. With the aged.
c) Job 28:18; Proverbs 8:11. More valuable than pearls.
d) Proverbs 4:7. To be got together with insight.
e) Proverbs 10:23. Pleasure to a man of understanding.
f) Proverbs 24:7. Too high for a fool.
g) Proverbs 24:14. A source of Hope to our soul.
h) Ecclesiastes 9:16. Better than might.
i) Ecclesiastes 9:18. Better than weapons of war.
j) Matthew 11:19. Justified by her deeds.
(Through this QT I have some idea of what value Wisdom Is)

‘Really?’
Judges 6:13.
Gideon could not believe that the Lord was with Him and with His People.
a) If the Lord is with us WHY has all this trouble happened?
b) If the Lord is with us WHERE are all His Wonderful deeds?
c) Do we have the same God as our fathers?
d) It seems like the Lord has forsaken us.
(This Second one may comfort some people who are asking the question: “Really?” when things are not going so well)

Wisdom is very valuable and precious. We should treat Wisdom well and take time to ponder on the Wisdom that the Lord gives to us. Both the Old and New Testaments encourage us to seek for Wisdom.
