Chris.
David Prayed to the Lord to show him His Favour because David wanted to live in Freedom. Living in Freedom has differing meanings in today’s World. Firstly, it can mean living in Freedom from a politically oppressive environment. Secondly, it can mean living in Freedom from modern day slavery employment. Thirdly, it can be living in Freedom from an abusive marriage. Fourthly, it can be living in Freedom from some besetting sin or habit. Fifthly, it can mean living in Freedom from a morally wrong relationship. Surely God wants to show us His Favour and give Freedom to us.
