‘Just Keep A Watch.’
Matthew 24:36-44.
a) Matthew 24:36. No one knows the time of the Second Coming of Jesus Christ – not even Jesus Himself. Anyone who claims to is a liar.
b) Matthew 24:37. When the Son of Man returns, it will be like it was in Noah’s day.
c) Matthew 24:38. People will be living with Godless priorities.
d) Matthew 24:39. People did not realise until God sent the flood in Noah’s day. That is exactly what it is going to be like when Jesus comes back.
e) Matthew 24:40-41. One person will be left and the other person taken.
f) Matthew 24:42. So we must keep watch. For we do not know what day our Lord is coming.
g) Matthew 24:43. If a homeowner knew exactly when a burglar was coming, he would keep watch and not permit his house to be broken into.
h) Matthew 24:44. We also must be ready all the time, for the Son of Man will come when least expected.
(This second one reminds me to Just Keep A Watch)

Chris.
Elderly parents are not meant to be a pain or embarrassment for their children but, rather, a Joy. The Bible teaches younger widows that one of their most important responsibilities is to look after their elderly parents in a most fitting way, in other words, what is best for them. Please notice this is a very special ministry of young widows.
