'When God Ordained Disaster.'
Jeremiah 1:13-16.
a)  Jeremiah 1:13. The Word of the Lord came to Jeremiah.
b)  Jeremiah 1:13. The Lord asked Jeremiah what he saw.
c)  Jeremiah 1:13. Jeremiah saw a boiling pot.
d)  Jeremiah 1:13. This pot was tilting towards God's People from the North.
e)  Jeremiah 1:14. The Lord spoke this Word to Jeremiah.
f)  Jeremiah 1:14. From the North, disaster will be poured out on all people who dwell in the land.
g)  Jeremiah 1:15. God was about to summon all the peoples of the Northern Kingdoms.
h)  Jeremiah 1:15. Their kings would come and set up their thrones.
i)  Jeremiah 1:15. These thrones would be placed.
j)  Jeremiah 1:15. In the entrance of the gates of Jerusalem.
k)  Jeremiah 1:15. These kings would come against all of Jerusalem's surrounding walls.
l)  Jeremiah 1:15. These kings would come against all the towns of Judah.
m)  Jeremiah 1:16. God will pronounce His Judgments on His People.
n)  Jeremiah 1:16. God will punish His People because they have sinned.
o)  Jeremiah 1:16. God's People were wicked in forsaking and abandoning Him.
p)  Jeremiah 1:16. God's People burned incense to other gods.
q)  Jeremiah 1:16. God's People worshipped what their hands had made.

Jeremiah saw a boiling pot! That was not the end of the "story"! There was a very clear meaning from God about this pot. Visions and dreams that come from God are not mysterious or mystical. They are not "weird" in a spiritual or intellectual sense, they are actually clear and have a clear meaning. When people claim to "see" things then we can surely test them with the Word of God, which is the final Judge and Discernment.
