This was a very normal part of practice, even carried on in some Nations today. The basic hygiene that we read about in the Bible was always good. There was always a separation between the clean and the unclean, in every sphere of life. Today, this act of separation has been compromised because of modern hygiene and medical progress, but we need to be very careful. Is God pleased with this compromise?
