Traditions That Do Not Help Us!
'Traditions That Do Not Help Us.'
a) Matthew 15:2; Mark 7:3 & 5. Religious traditions of the Elders.
b) Matthew 15:3; Mark 7:9. Traditions that break the Commandments of God.
c) Matthew 15:6; Mark 7:13. Traditions that make void the Word of God.
d) Mark 7:8. The traditions of men.
e) Colossians 2:8. Human tradition that takes us captive.
(This QT teaches me about Traditions That Do Not Help Me)
--------------------------
'Hard Work That Brought Results.'
John 2:7.
a) Jesus spoke to the servants of the wedding feast.
b) The were to fill the water pots with water. (These water pots were huge)
c) The servants obeyed Jesus.
d) The water pots were filled to the brim.
(This Second one reminds me about Hard Work That Brought Results)
--------------------------
Chris.
There are sometimes traditions in the Churches that do not help us. Because they do not help us, or anybody, we can call them worthless traditions. They have no worth or value at all. If the Church gets stuck in these traditions then it will soon become an ineffective witness to Christ. It is not functioning as a part of the Body of Christ.

They Sinned And Were Not Grateful!
'They Sinned And Were Not Grateful.'
Jeremiah 2:7-8.
a) God brought His People into a bountiful country.
b) God wanted them to eat its fruit and its goodness.
c) When they entered, they defiled God's Land.
d) God's People made His Heritage an abomination.
e) Their priests did not seek the Lord.
f) The Teachers of the Law did not know the Lord.
g) The Rulers transgressed against the Lord.
h) The Prophets prophesied by Baal.
i) The Prophets walked after things that did not profit them.
(This QT reveals to me of God's People that They Sinned And Were Not Grateful)
--------------------------
'When Tradition Was Not Necessary.'
Matthew 15:2.
a) Jesus' Disciples did not think that Tradition was necessary here.
b) They were clean.
c) They did not wash their hands before they ate.
(This Second one explains When Tradition Was Not Necessary, I really want to follow this way)
--------------------------
Chris.
Their Priests did not seek the Lord. Here we see one of the basic principles of the life of a Shepherd or Teacher of God's People. These Ministers have to seek the Lord. Firstly, they have to seek Him for themselves, that they will never take their own spiritual life for granted. Secondly, they have to seek His Anointing on the Ministry that He has given to Him. Thirdly, they need to seek Him on behalf of the people that they serve.

Division Then Defeat!
'Division Then Defeat.'
Revelation 16:19.
a) The Great City was divided into three parts.
b) Then the cities of the Nations fell.
c) Great Babylon was then remembered before God.
d) To give her the cup of the wine.
e) Of the fierceness of God's Wrath.
(This QT shows me a spiritual principle: Division Then Defeat)
-------------------------
'The Water Pots That Jesus Used.'
John 2:6.
a) There were six of them.
b) They were huge.
c) They contained water for purification.
d) According to Jewish Law.
e) Each had capacity for between 20 - 30 Gallons.
(This Second one reveals to me The Water Pots That Jesus Used)
-------------------------
Chris.
Here we read of different wines. Firstly, we read of the wine of the fierceness of God's Wrath. Secondly, we read of pots that were used for wine for a large wedding feast. Rather than being hypersensitive about the subject of wine, True Believers today need to read carefully the things that the Bible has to say about wine. We should find it, at least, interesting.

Jesus Knows Us Very Well!
'Jesus Knows Us Very Well.'
John 1:48.
a) Jesus knows us as well as He knew Nathanael. Psalm 139:1.
b) Nathanael asked Jesus how He knew him.
c) Before Philip called Nathanael.
d) When Nathanael was under the fig tree.
e) Jesus saw him.
(This QT reminds me that Jesus Knows Me Very Well)
-------------------------
'The Blessing From Persistent Obedience.'
Luke 5:5-6.
a) Tired Simon was answering Jesus.
b) Simon said:-
1-Master.
2-We have toiled all night.
3-We have caught nothing.
4-Nevertheless.
5-At your Word.
6-I will let down the net.
c) When this was done.
d) They caught a great number of fish.
e) Their nets started to break.
(This Second one explains to me The Blessing From Consistent Obedience)
-------------------------
Chris.
Jesus saw Nathanael under the fig tree. It is amazing, as we peruse the Scriptures, how easily we can see that God is surely an "All Knowing God" - He is omniscient. Sometimes, at times of difficulty and stress we forget this fact. There are times that we just need to leave things with God and go on. I know that God Knows.

b) Where is the Lord?
c) He brought us up out of the Land of Egypt.

4-A land of drought.
5-The shadow of death.
6-A land of deep darkness.
7-A land that no one crossed.
8-A land where no one lived.
(This QT astounds me: They Forgot To Seek The Lord)
------------------------
'A Wise Mother And Leader.'
John 2:5.
a) She spoke to her servants.
b) She referred to her Son - Jesus Christ.
c) She asked her servants to follow His Instructions.
(This Second one reveals to me A Wise Mother And Leader)
------------------------
Chris.
The Lord led His People through the wilderness. He appointed His Leaders for His People but, ultimately, it was Him Who led them through. It is good to have Spiritual Leaders whom we can trust, but, ultimately, it should be the Lord Who is leading our lives.

'Jesus Put His Mother In Correct Perspective.'
John 2:4.
a) Jesus called His Mother "Woman". (It was not honorific)
b) Jesus asked His Mother what her concern had to do with Him.
c) Jesus told His Mother that His Hour had not yet come.
(In This Second one I find that Jesus Put His Mother In Correct Perspective)
---------
Chris.
The new wine is found in the cluster. This is simply nature as God intends it to be. The crop of grapes is meant to be a Blessing and benefit to the farmer who owns it and harvests it. Wine is not a chemical drink that is invented by man, wine is God's Creation and we need to be good stewards of that Creation.

An Impressive Finality!
'An Impressive Finality.'

h) No earthquake had ever been experienced like it since humanity dwelt on the Earth.

'Wine, Oil And Bread.'
Psalm 104:15.
a) Wine makes glad the human heart.
b) Oil makes human faces shine.
c) Bread strengthens the human heart.
(This Second one teaches me about Wine, Oil, And Bread)
--------
Chris.
When God says: "It is done" it means exactly what it says. Nothing can change "It" because "It is done". Any 'prayer' that challenges God's "It is done" is surely a 'prayer' that is not in God's Will. Our prayers should always be in line with the Word and Will of God. We should never oppose God's Will with our 'prayer'.

b) At the wedding feast.
c) The mother of Jesus.
d) Said to Jesus.
e) That they had no wine.
(This Second one reveals to me a great opportunity for Jesus Christ: They Ran Out Of Wine)
-------
Chris.
God's Own people began to follow idols. This means that they fully went away from Him and became idolaters. They ceased to follow the Way of Faith. Jesus Christ is the Way. When anyone or anything causes us to turn away from Jesus Christ. The person or thing concerned has become an idol to us. If we continue to follow that person or thing we will become an idolater. May God's Church be cleansed from the sin of idolatry.

The Lord's Mandate!
'The Lord's Mandate.'
Luke 4:18-19.
a) The Spirit of the Lord was upon Him.
b) The Lord had Anointed Him to preach Good News to the poor people.
c) He was sent to proclaim Liberty to the captives.
d) He was sent to bring sight to the blind people.
e) He had come to set at liberty those people who were oppressed.
f) He came to proclaim the year of the Lord's Favour.

'Places Of Invitation.'
We do not just assume to go to these places, we go if we are invited.
a) John 2:2; Revelation 19:9; Luke 14:8. A Wedding feast.
b) Acts 8:31. To explain Truth to another person.
c) Acts 10:23; 28:14; Luke 7:39. To be a guest.
d) 1 Samuel 9:22. The head of the table.
e) 1 Samuel 16:5. Place of Worship.
f) Luke 14:16-17. A great banquet.
(This Second one Teaches me that there are Places Of Invitation)
--------------------------
Chris.
Jesus had come to set at liberty those people who were oppressed. My Bible tells me that Jesus Christ is the same, yesterday, today and forever. It simply means that He does not change. His Words and concepts are Eternal. The Life that He gives is Eternal. There are many people in the World system and in the Church today who are in great need of deliverance from their oppression. Evangelism and Ministry only really are effective if those who serve are truly freed from oppression.

2-Thomas the twin.
3-Nathanael of Cana in Galilee.
4-The sons of Zebedee.
c) Two other Disciples were also there.

Chris.
Armageddon refers to an event of great destruction. The word is not only used in the Bible - it is also used of any war scene where there is great destruction. We thank God for His restraining Hand on the Koreas at this time. There are many people both inside and outside of Korea who are Praying for a good resolution and for Peace. May there be no Armageddon!

Come Back To The Lord!
'Come Back To The Lord.'
Jeremiah 2:1-3.
a) Jeremiah 2:1. This was the Word of the Lord that came to Jeremiah.
b) Jeremiah 2:2. Jeremiah was to go and cry in the hearing of Jerusalem.
c) Jeremiah 2:2.. This was the Message from the Lord.
d) Jeremiah 2:2-3. Jeremiah shouted out this Message in the hearing of Jerusalem:-
1-Thus says the Lord.
2-I remember you.
3-The kindness of your youth.
4-Your love.
5-You followed Me, even through the wilderness.
6-It was so barren - not a seed was sown.
7-At that time Israel were a Holy People.
8-They were the first of the Lord's Children.
9-All who defiled Israel were offensive to the Lord.
10-Disaster will come upon the defilers.
(This QT calls me Come Back To The Lord)

'We Will See Greater Things.'
John 1:50.
a) Jesus answered and spoke to Nathanael.
b) Because I said to you.
c) I saw you under the fig tree.
d) Do you Believe just because of that?
e) You will see greater things than these.
(Through this Second one I Believe that I Will See Greater Things)

Chris.
Jeremiah was to go and cry in in the hearing of Jerusalem. His Ministry was clearly defined by the Lord. The Bible tells me that God is not the Author of Confusion. When I meet people who are trying in their own strength and way to "serve the Lord" it makes me sad because such people are usually ineffective. Our Ministries should be clearly defined by the Lord.

Jesus answered Nathanael!. He knew Nathanael and about Nathanael before He ever saw him. This reminds me that Jesus knows me and He knows us all. Because of this knowledge that Jesus has we can have confidence to come to Him in Prayer. Nothing can be hidden from Him.

I know that the most important thing in my life is that I am Ready For The Lord. This is a challenge for every True Believer. His Coming will be as a thief - that means that the time is unexpected. The thief always comes when they are not expected. It also means that we need to be alert and watching for His Coming. We need to be living clean lives before Him continually.

The only way in which we can have a pure heart is by coming to the Lord and by letting Him wash our heart pure with His Word and by the Blood of Jesus Christ. There is no other way in this entire World by which our heart can be made pure.

'Trust In The Lord.'
Proverbs 3:5.

b) With all your heart.
c) We should not lean.
d) On our own understanding.
(This Second one reminds me to Trust In The Lord)
-------------------
Chris.
The performing of signs is something that is not restricted to Christian "Workers of Miracles". This is why we are urged in the Bible to discern the manifestations that come from God and those that do not. In the "last days" more and more signs are being worked and they can be used to deceive people and lead them away from God. This is why we need to discern (not be suspicious of) but discern, the performing of signs.

Get Ready!
'Get Ready.'
Jeremiah 1:17.

'You Shall Love The Lord.'
Deuteronomy 6:5.
a) We are to love the Lord our God.
b) With all our heart.
c) With all our soul.
d) With all our strength.
(Because of this Second one I Shall Love The Lord)
------------------
Chris.
Do not be frightened as you face them. It would be so nice if everyone who worships and who serves in Church had a good and lovely character. Many people do, but sometimes it is spoilt by one or two people who do not manifest any fruit of the Holy Spirit at all. These people are often frightening for us to have to face. Their attitude can be really harsh, critical and cold. God reminds us in His Word, not to be frightened of such people.

We need to ask our Heavenly Father to fill us with the Holy Spirit. This infilling is not just some kind of automatic happening. Jesus taught His Disciples and the Bible Teaches us that we need to ask our Heavenly Father to fill us with the Holy Spirit. There is a very obvious life change when we are filled with the Holy Spirit.

Chris.
Jeremiah saw a boiling pot! That was not the end of the "story"! There was a very clear meaning from God about this pot. Visions and dreams that come from God are not mysterious or mystical. They are not "weird" in a spiritual or intellectual sense, they are actually clear and have a clear meaning. When people claim to "see" things then we can surely test them with the Word of God, which is the final Judge and Discernment.

d) And lose heart.
(Through this Second one I have cause to Consider Him)
----------------------
Chris.
The heart of the True Believer should always be ready for whatever comes next. We should always be ready. It means that there are times that we need to take action like it says in the Book of Revelation, we need to be a people who prepare the way. God is at work in the World today and He wants us to be sensitive to His Work.
Revelation 16:12.
a) The sixth Angel poured out his bowl.
b) On the great river Euphrates.
c) The river water was dried up.
d) To prepare the way for the Kings of the East.
(This QT reveals Preparing The Way For The Kings Of The East)
----------------------
'Consider Him.'
Hebrews 12:3.
a) Consider Him.
b) Who endured such opposition from sinners.
c) So that you will not grow weary.
d) And lose heart.
(Through this Second one I have cause to Consider Him)

The Lord Is Watching!
'The Lord Is Watching.'
Jeremiah 1:11-12.
a) The Word of the Lord came to Jeremiah.
b) What do you see Jeremiah?
c) Jeremiah responded that he saw the branch of an almond tree.
d) The Lord told Jeremiah that He had seen correctly.
e) The Lord was watching.
f) To see that His Word is fulfilled.
g) The Hebrew word for "watching".
h) Sounds like the Hebrew word for "almond tree".
(This QT reminds me that The Lord Is Watching)
---------------------
'Follow The Lord's Way!'
Colossians 3:13.
a) With each other:-
1-Bear.
2-Forgive.
3-Make allowances for.
4-Be Patient
(This Second one encourages me to Follow The Lord's Way)
---------------------
Chris.
The Lord watches! We should never forget that we have a God Who sees and that means that He watches too. He watches firstly to see that His Word is fulfilled. There are many Plans in the Heart of the Lord, all of them are a part of His Will. The Lord never forgets His People He also has a Plan for all of His People. Let us commit ourselves to following His Plan, whether individually, as a family or as a Church.

'The Ultimate Example Of Self Humbling.'
Philippians 2:6-8.
a) Philippians 2:6. Jesus Christ.
b) Philippians 2:6. Though He was in the form of God.
c) Philippians 2:6. He did not think that equality with God.
d) Philippians 2:6. Was a thing to be grasped.
e) Philippians 2:7. Jesus Christ emptied Himself.
f) Philippians 2:7. By taking the form of a servant.
g) Philippians 2:7. He was born in the likeness of men.
h) Philippians 2:8. Being found in human form.
I) Philippians 2:8. Jesus Christ humbled Himself.
j) Philippians 2:8. By becoming obedient even to the point of death.
k) Philippians 2:8. Even death on a Cross.
(This QT teaches me about The Ultimate Example Of Self Humbling)
---------------------
'Living And Walking In Love.'
Ephesians 5:2.
a) Walk in Love.
b) Live in Love.
c) As Christ Loved us.
d) He gave Himself up for us.
e) A fragrant Offering.
f) A Sacrifice to God.
(In this Second one I discover what Living And Walking In Love Means)
---------------------
Chris.
Equality with God did not enter Christ's mind or affect His Life when He walked upon this Earth. He was much more given to loving and serving the people and not seeing Himself as Someone who was important. Those of us involved with some kind of Christian Ministry can find our good example in Christ.

Yet They Were Still Unrepentant!
'Yet They Were Still Unrepentant.'
Revelation 16:10-11.
a) The fifth Angel.
b) Poured out his bowl.
c) On the Throne of the Beast.
d) The Beast's Kingdom was plunged into darkness.
e) The people:-
1-Gnawed their tongues in agony and anguish..
2-Cursed the God of Heaven because of their pains and sores.
3-Refused to repent of what they had done.
(Through this QT I observe that Yet They Were Still Unrepentant)
--------------------
'With The Humility And Gentleness Of Christ.'
2 Corinthians 10:1.
a) Apostle Paul was living in and appealing by the:-
1-Humility of Christ.
2-Gentleness of Christ.
3-Meekness of Christ.
b) Apostle Paul was timid and humble when he was face-to-face with the Corinthian True Believers.
c) When Apostle Paul was apart and away from them, he was bold with his letters.
(This Second one challenges me to serve With The Humility And Gentleness Of Christ)
--------------------
Chris.
It is surely for our good and for our benefit that the Bible Teaches us many things about the end times. There is always some kind of call and calling for us as we read about the end times. I believe that the first of these 'callings' is for us to have a closer walk with God. God's People need to be taught on a regular basis what is True and what is a lie.

Jeremiah's Commissioning!
'Jeremiah's Commissioning.'
Jeremiah 1:9-10.
a) The Lord put out His Hand.
b) The Lord touched Jeremiah's mouth.
c) The Lord said to Jeremiah that He had put His Words.
d) Into Jeremiah's mouth.
e) Jeremiah was to see and appreciate his new situation.
f) Jeremiah was appointed over Nations and Kingdoms.
g) Jeremiah's Ministry was to:-
1-Uproot.
2-Tear down.
3-Destroy.
4-Overthrow.
5-Build.
6-Plant.
(This QT teaches me about Jeremiah's Commissioning)
--------------------
'Welcome And Accept Each Other.'
Romans 15:7.
a) Accept one another.
b) Welcome one another.
c) In the same way that Christ has accepted us.
d) In the same way that Christ has welcomed us.
e) This is all for the Glory of God and will bring Him Praise.
(Through this Second one I desire to obey God's Word, Welcome And Accept Each Other)
--------------------
Chris.
We read in the Scripture today that Jeremiah was given a clear Ministry by the Lord. The Lord made it very clear to Jeremiah what he had to do. It is similar for us, in God's Perfect Time and Way He makes the Work that He has for us to do clear to us. There was never any confusion about the boundaries in Jeremiah's days and there should be none in our days too.

For Others!
'For Others.'
a) Matthew 20:28; Mark 14:24. The Blood of the Covenant is poured out for many people for the forgiveness of their sins.
b) Romans 5:15. Even greater is God's Wonderful Grace.
c) Romans 5:15. His Gift of Forgiveness for many people.
d) Romans 5:15. Is made through the One Man, Jesus Christ.
e) Romans 5:18. One act of Righteousness leads to Justification and Life for all people.
f) Romans 5:19. By one Man's Obedience many will be made Righteous.
g) Hebrews 9:28. Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many people.
(This QT causes me to ponder upon what Christ has done For Others)
-------------------
'Ask In The Name Of The Lord Jesus.'
John 14:13-14.
a) Whatever we ask in the Lord's Name, He Will do.
b) This is so that the Father will be Glorified in the Son.
c) If we ask the Lord anything in His Name.
d) He will do it.
(This Second one encourages me to Ask In The Name Of The Lord Jesus)
-------------------
Chris.
This is a wonderful picture of Amazing Grace: That one act of Righteousness leads to Justification and Life for all people. I believe that if we lose focus on what is God's Plan for our Life and Salvation and we get caught up with all kinds of selfish "I wants" from Him for our self consumption, then we lose the Spiritual Direction for our lives very easily. God is not only there for us - we are also there for Him.

An Example Of Stubborn Refusal!
'An Example Of Stubborn Refusal.'
Revelation 16:8-9.
a) The fourth Angel poured out his bowl on the sun.
b) The sun was allowed to scorch people with fire.
c) The people:-
1-Were seared by the intense heat.
2-Cursed the Name of God Who had control over the plagues.
3-Refused to repent and Glorify God.
(This QT reveals to me An Example Of Stubborn Refusal)
-------------------
'We Should Follow Christ's Example.'
Matthew 20:28.
a) We are to do as the Son of Man did.
b) He did not come to be served.
c) He came to serve others.
d) He came to give His Life to save many people.
(This Second one reminds me that I Should Follow Christ's Example)
-------------------
Chris.
It is still common for people who do not know Jesus Christ, when things go wrong in their lives, to curse God. I have heard this many times, especially in areas that once experienced the Gospel but now are hardened. I do not want to write negative examples here. Enough to put ... it is still common for them to curse God .

We Should Not Reject God's Call!
'We Should Not Reject God's Call.'
Jeremiah 1:6-8.
a) Jeremiah 1:6. Jeremiah felt disturbed, with no peace, that is why he said: "Alas!"
b) Jeremiah 1:6. Jeremiah confessed the Sovereignty of the Lord.
c) Jeremiah 1:6. He felt unready for the task.
d) Jeremiah 1:7. The Lord told Jeremiah not to talk or think in the wrong way.
e) Jeremiah 1:7. The Lord told Jeremiah to go to everyone that he is sent to.
f) Jeremiah 1:7. The Lord told Jeremiah to say all that He commands him to say.
g) Jeremiah 1:8. The Lord told Jeremiah not to be afraid of the people.
h) Jeremiah 1:8. The Lord was:-
1-With Jeremiah.
2-Able to rescue Jeremiah.
3-Able to deliver Jeremiah.
(This QT reminds me that I Should Not Reject God's Call)
------------------
'Come And Be Comforted.'
Isaiah 66:11.
a) Be filled.
b) Be satisfied.
c) Be comforted.
d) Drink deeply.
e) Delight in overflowing abundance.
(This Second one invites me to Come And Be Comforted)
------------------
Chris.
The Lord told Jeremiah to go to everyone that he was going to be sent to. This is a very significant and important statement that the Lord gave to Jeremiah. It remains God's Truth and Instruction until today. If the Lord sends us to some place, wherever it is, we should go. We go with His Presence and with His Promise. If we try to go our own way, however successful our first steps may seem to be, we are actually heading for disaster. This is what happens when we try to go our own way.
The Living God!
'The Living God.'
a) Matthew 16:16. Jesus Christ is the Son of the Living God.
b) Deuteronomy 5:26. Speaks from out of the fire.
c) Psalm 42:2. We can thirst for Him.
d) Daniel 6:26. Endures forever.
e) Acts 14:15. We should turn to Him as the Creator.
f) 1 Thessalonians 1:9. Is the True God.
(This QT creates a thirst within me for The Living God)
------------------
'Your Light Will Rise.'
Isaiah 58:10.
a) If we spend ourselves on behalf of the hungry people.
b) If we satisfy the needs of the oppressed people.
c) Our light will rise and shine in the darkness.
d) Our night will become like the noonday.
(Through this Second one I desire that My Light Will Rise)
------------------
Chris.
The True God is the Living God. It means that He is the only One Who can manifest Himself as the Living God. Our God is the Source of Light and Life. He is not to be found in darkness and He is not to be found in the midst of lies. The True God is the Living God. I cannot understand, why in these days, and in certain Christian 'circles', God is treated by the people as if He Is Dead. The True God is the Living God and He is the Head of His Church through His Son Jesus Christ.
The Response Of God's People At The Altar!
'The Response Of God's People At The Altar.'
Revelation 16:7.
a) Audible were their:-
1-Worship.
2-Praises.
3-Prayers.
b) They responded positively to the Lord God Almighty.
c) The Lord's Judgments were and are:-
1-True.
2-Righteous.
3-Just.
(This QT reveals The Response Of God's People At The Altar)
------------------
'The Life Of The Resurrected Christ.'
Isaiah 53:11.
a) He has finished His Suffering.
b) He will see the fruit of the travail of His Soul.
c) He will see the Light of Life.
d) By His Knowledge.
e) The Lord's Righteous Servant - The Lord Jesus Christ:-
1-Shall Justify many people.
2-Shall instruct many people in Righteousness.
3-Shall bear His People's iniquities.
(This Second one teaches me about The Life Of The Resurrected Christ)
------------------
Chris.
His People responded positively to the Lord God Almighty. This is really the way that God intends it to be. If God's People are going through difficult times, the Scriptures exhort and encourage them to pour out their hearts to Him just as King David did. Actually, many of the Psalms are there to help us to pour out our hearts to God. It is so marvellous that God has these Psalms recorded for our benefit in a practical way.
Jeremiah's Clear Calling!
'Jeremiah's Clear Calling.'
Jeremiah 1:4-5.
a) The Word of the Lord came to Jeremiah.
b) The Lord knew Jeremiah before He formed him in the womb.
c) Before Jeremiah was born, the Lord had set him apart.
d) The Lord appointed him as a Prophet to the Nations.
e) Jeremiah would speak for the Lord in the Nations.
(This QT teaches me of Jeremiah's Clear Calling)
------------------
'Lovely Truth.'
Proverbs 12:14.
a) From the fruit of their lips.
b) People are filled.
c) With good things.
d) The work of their hands.
e) Brings them reward.
(This Second one reveals Lovely Truth)
------------------
Chris.
Jeremiah would speak for the Lord in the Nations. This was a very special calling, Jeremiah was not called only to the Jewish people in Israel, he was called to the Gentile people in the Nations. Sometimes, in certain Church 'systems' people find their call is restricted, not by the Lord, but by the Church systems. If these people are 'called' then they have to serve the Church. This is basically faulty because there are some people who are clearly called to the Nations. When I find such people in the Nations they are usually very fulfilled in what they are doing and in how they are expressing their Calling.

Remembrance!
'Remembrance.'
a) Psalm 102:12; 135:13. We remember the Lord for all generations.
b) Exodus 3:15. The Lord wanted the Children of Israel to remember Him for all generations.
c) Psalm 30:4; 97:12. We are to give thanks at the memory of God's Holiness.
d) Isaiah 26:8. The desire of our soul is to remember the Lord.
e) Matthew 26:13. The remembrance of the woman who washed the feet of Jesus.
f) Acts 10:4. Prayers that come up for a memorial before God.
g) Proverbs 10:7. The memory of the Just People is Blessed.
(This QT teaches me the importance of Remembrance)
----------------
'Do Not Believe In Vain.'
1 Corinthians 15:1-2.
a) We need to be reminded of the Gospel.
b) The Gospel's Way:-
1-It is Preached.
2-It is Received.
3-It is Stood In.
c) We are being Saved by the Gospel.
d) We need to hold fast to the Word that is and was preached to us.
e) Then we will not believe in vain.
(Through this Second one I receive this Word from the Lord: Do Not Believe In Vain)
----------------
Chris.
Here is Prayer as it is supposed to be: Prayer that comes up for a Memorial before God. Prayer is not just something that True Believers are meant to do. Prayer is not supposed to be reserved for 'emergency situations'. Prayer is supposed to be something higher and more beautiful than this. Yes, there is the pouring out of our heart before the Lord that we read about in the Bible. That is very necessary at times. There is also Worshipful Prayer, Prayer in the Fear of the Lord and Prayer that is Heavenly in its motivation and intention. May our Prayers come up for a Memorial before God!
The Blood Poured Out!
'The Blood Poured Out.'
Revelation 16:4-6.
a) Revelation 16:4. The Third Angel poured out his vial on the rivers and springs of water.
b) Revelation 16:4. They became blood.
c) Revelation 16:5. The Angel in charge of the waters spoke out.
d) Revelation 16:5. The Angel said that the Holy One was just in His Judgments.
e) Revelation 16:5. The Holy One is the One Who:-
1-Was.
2-Is.
3-Shall be.
f) Revelation 16:6. These people had shed the blood of:-
1-God's Holy People.
2-Saints.
3-God's Prophets.
g) Revelation 16:6. God gave them blood to drink because that is what they deserved.
(This QT causes me to ponder upon The Blood Poured Out)
----------------
'Receiving The Lord's Blessing.'
Psalm 104:28.
a) When the Lord gives His Blessing to His People.
b) They gather it up.
c) When the Lord opens His Hand.
d) His people are satisfied with good things.
e) His people are filled with good things.
(This Second one teaches me about Receiving The Lord's Blessing)
----------------
Chris.
The Lord God has always been the Holy One. There is none so Holy as the Lord. The Character of the Holy One is the same eternally - He never changes. This means that His Requirements of us and His Desires for us are rooted in Holiness. If we have the correct concept of the Lord God we will surely want to please Him. There are so many ways in which we can Worship the Lord! It is not just singing to Him that is Worship, that is only a part of it.

The Word Of The Lord Came!
'The Word Of The Lord Came.'
Jeremiah 1:2&3.
a) The Word of the Lord came to Jeremiah. (It was not permanently in Jeremiah)
b) It came during the thirteenth year of the reign of King Josiah.
c) Josiah was the son of King Amon of Judah.
d) The Word continued to come until the end of the reign of King Jehoiakim the son of King Josiah.
e) Zedekiah son of Josiah was the next king.
f) The Word of the Lord continued to come to Jeremiah until the fifth month of the eleventh year of Zedekiah's reign.
g) That is when the people of Jerusalem went into exile.
(This QT teaches me that The Word Of The Lord Came To Jeremiah, rather than being 'in' him)
----------------
'The Significance Of The Word.'
a) Genesis 15:1 & 4; Exodus 9:20-21; Numbers 3:16. The Word of the Lord.
b) Genesis 44:18. The Word in someone's ear.
c) Exodus 8:13; 32:28. The Word of Moses.
d) Exodus 33:4. A disastrous Word.
e) Deuteronomy 8:3. Many lives by the Lord's Word.
f) Deuteronomy 21:5. The word by which disputes are solved.
g) Deuteronomy 30:14. The Word that is:
1-Very near us.
2-In our heart.
3-In our mouth.
4-To be done.
h) Deuteronomy 32:47. That causes us to live.
i) Joshua 1:13. To be remembered.
j) Joshua 23:14. The Word that never fails.
Through this Second one I discover The Significance Of The Word)
-----------------
Chris.
In so many cases the Royal succession in Old Testament days was strictly kept in the family. The fact that the Lord raises up kings and also removes them is significant. This method of National Leadership has been retained in some Nations even until today. We need to respect the ways in which God worked in the Nations. The Lord's Ways are really past finding out - He is so wise - He is so gracious. We can learn so much, even today, of His Ways and Values.
Commit To The Lord!
'Commit To The Lord!
Proverbs 16:3.
a) Commit to The Lord.
b) Whatever you do.
c) He Will Establish.
d) Your plans.
(This QT urges me to Commit To The Lord)
----------------
'It Was Not A Conspiracy.'
John 20:1-2.
a) It was early.
b) On the First Day of the week.
c) While it was still dark.
d) Mary Magdalene went to Jesus' tomb.
e) She saw that the stone had been removed from the entrance.
f) Then she came running to Simon Peter.
g) She also met the other Disciple whom Jesus loved.
h) She told them.
i) That they had taken the Lord out of the tomb.
j) She did not know where they had laid Him.
(This Second one was miraculous: It Was Not A Conspiracy)
----------------
Chris.
Mary Magdalene came running to Apostle Peter. It was obvious that she trusted him, even though he had made some huge mistakes as a Disciple of Jesus Christ. When we learn to trust someone, it means that we really know them, even their weak points. Despite their weak points, we can still trust them, this to me is so meaningful. To refuse to trust someone when we need to trust someone means that fear is governing our life instead of Trust. Peter's faith was pure, that is what made him trustable.
A Dead Person!
'A Dead Person.'
a) Revelation 16:3. Their blood can pollute waters.
b) Revelation 20:13. Will be judged according to their works.
c) Numbers 19:18. To touch a dead person made one unclean.
d) Ezekiel 44:25. God's Priests would defile themselves if they came near to a dead person.
e) Haggai 2:13. The defilement that comes from touching a dead person may be passed on through touch.
f) Luke 7:12. Dead people were carried out of the town to be buried.
(Through this QT I learn more about A Dead Person)
---------------
'True Satisfaction.'
Psalm 103:5.
a) The Lord satisfies.
b) Our desires with good things.
c) So that our youth.
d) Is renewed.
e) Like the eagles.
(Through this Second one I desire True Satisfaction)
---------------
Chris.
Dead people, in Bible Lands and Days were always carried out of the town to be buried. This was a very normal part of practice, even carried on in some Nations today. The basic hygiene that we read about in the Bible was always good. There was always a separation between the clean and the unclean, in every sphere of life. Today, this act of separation has been compromised because of modern hygiene and medical progress, but we need to be very careful. Is God pleased with this compromise?

Just An Ordinary Man!
'Just An Ordinary Man.'
Jeremiah 1:1.
a) Jeremiah was the son of Hilkiah.
b) It was a family of priests.
c) They lived in Anathoth.
d) In the land of Benjamin.
(This QT teaches me that Jeremiah was Just An Ordinary Man)
--------------
'Freedom From Toil.'
Psalm 81:6.
a) He takes the load from our shoulders.
b) He takes away our burden.
c) He frees our hands.
d) From the heavy tasks.
(This Second one assures me that The Lord gives me Freedom From Toil)
--------------
Chris.
Jeremiah was just an ordinary man who came from the family of an ordinary priest. There was nothing "extra special" about his background. Yet he was called and raised up by God for a task that was not particularly easy. He was called to be a Prophet for God in difficult times. Whatever it is, we should be ready for God's Plan.

Chris.
This worship of the prophet Daniel reminds me of certain people today who allow themselves to be set up and 'worshipped' by other human beings. It may happen in cults, in can also happen when the Body of Christ becomes distorted by incorrect teaching about prosperity and health. The teacher who teaches the incorrect teaching can easily become idolised.
