Tradition Is Not Always Good!


‘Tradition Is Not Always Good.’
Mark 7:13.
a) It may make void the Word of God.
b) It is ours and not God’s.
c) It usually goes on from generation to generation.
d) If we are into tradition it becomes very much a part of our lifestyle.
(Through this QT I realise that Tradition Is Not Always Good)

‘Our Philosophical Arguments Need To Be Based In Christ.’
Colossians 2:8.
a) No one should take us captive by philosophy.
b) No one should take us captive by empty deceit.
c) No one should take us captive according to human traditions.
d) No one should take us captive according to the elemental spirits of the World system.
e) We should live in the Way of Christ.
(This Second one strongly reminds me that My Philosophical Arguments Need To Be Based In Christ)

Tradition is not always good. We are sometimes quite proud of our “traditions” and in some cases these traditions may actually replace God’s Words and God’s Ways in our lives. Let us not be deceived! There are Traditions that are deeply rooted in the Word of God and we should really stand by these Traditions.
