‘The Correct Attitude For Paid Workers.’
Ephesians 6:5-8.
a) Ephesians 6:5. Being obedient to those people who are our masters in the flesh:-
1- With fear and trembling.
2- In the sincerity of our heart.
3- As to Christ.
b) Ephesians 6:6. Being obedient to those people who are our masters in the flesh:-
1- Not by way of eye service, only working when the master is looking or checking.
2- Not as man pleasers.
3- As slaves of Christ.
4- Doing the Will of God from the heart.
c) Ephesians 6:7. We should render our service at our work place:-
1- With good will.
2- As to the Lord. (Work is also Worship)
3- Not merely to other people.
d) Ephesians 6:8. We should have assurance that whatever good thing we do, we will receive back reward from the Lord whether we are slave or free.

Proverbs 14:12.
a) There is a path.
b) Before each person.
c) That seems correct.
d) But it ends in death.

Being obedient to our masters according to the flesh in the same way that we would be obedient to Christ is really not an easy thing to do. It is important to remember that just before writing about these things Apostle Paul was writing about being filled with the Holy Spirit. It is also important to remember that the Lord has said that He will never leave us or forsake us. In many ways it is easier to be obedient to our Perfect Lord than it is to be obedient to an imperfect master, but God will strengthen us for the task.
