‘We Do Not Desire To Be Under The Law.’
Galatians 4:21-23.
a) Galatians 4:21. Those Believers who want to be under God’s Old Testament Law really do not know what they are saying and thinking about.
b) Galatians 4:22. Abraham had two sons – one by a bond woman and another by a free woman.
c) Galatians 4:23. The son who was born by the bond woman was born after the flesh.
d) Galatians 4:23. The son who was born by the free woman was born of Promise.

‘No Self Deception.’
1 Corinthians 3:18.
a) No one should fool themselves.
b) If anyone in the Church thinks that they are wise by the World’s standards.
c) They should become humble (foolish).
d) Then they can become really wise.
(Through this Second one I find a clear Biblical injunction: No Self Deception)

We need to choose. Do we follow the way of the flesh, which is bondage. Do we follow the way of the Promise of God’s Word, which leads us into Freedom. This is an important choice which we all have to make. There are even some Christians who follow the way of the flesh. They live in such miserable legalism and sometimes even believe that it is “God’s Will” to live in such a way. This is deception. God desires that all True Believers follow the way of the Promise of God’s Word which leads us into Freedom.
