‘Need Direction?’
Psalm 119:105.
a) The Word of the Lord.
b) Is a Lamp to our feet.
c) Is a Light to our path.
(Through this simple QT I know that the first place I should go to when I Need Direction is to the Word of God. Leaders and trustworthy friends may give good counsel but the first consultant, if we are True Believers, should be the Word of God)

‘The Body Of Christ.’
1 Corinthians 12:13-27.
a) 1 Corinthians 12:13 & 27. All True Believers are a part of the Body of Christ.
b) 1 Corinthians 12:14, 17 & 19-20. There are many different parts of both the human body and the Body of Christ.
c) 1 Corinthians 12:15-16 & 21-23; Romans 12:4-5. All parts of the Body are necessary and needed.
d) 1 Corinthians 12:18 & 24. God sets us in the Body as it pleases Him.
e) 1 Corinthians 12:25. There should be no division in the Body of Christ.
f) 1 Corinthians 12:25. All members should care properly for one another.
g) 1 Corinthians 12:26. When one member of the Body of Christ suffers, all members suffer with it and when one member is honoured all rejoice with it.
h) Ephesians 4:11-12. To build up the Body of Christ He gives it:-
1- Apostles.
2- Prophets.
3- Evangelists.
4- Shepherds.
5- Teachers.
i) 1 Peter 4:10. We are to serve one another in the Body of Christ as good stewards of the Grace of God.
j) Colossians 1:18; Ephesians 1:22. Christ is the Head of the Body.
(Through this Second one I am amazed at The Body Of Christ)

When one member of the Body of Christ suffers it should be so that all members suffer with that one member. The sad fact is today in many Churches this simply does not happen. Very often the sufferer is ostracised or gossiped about rather than comforted or helped in the Body of Christ. We need to return to a Biblcal concept of Christianity rather than the charismatic triumphalist style that is adopted by so many parts of the Body of Christ today.
