Proverbs 18:23-24
a) A poor man speaks beseechingly.
b) A rich man’s answer is blunt.
c) Some so-called “friends” pretend to be friends.
d) A true friend sticks closer than a brother.

‘Living As God’s Chosen People.’
Colossians 3:12-13.
a) We should be Holy.
b) We are dearly loved by God.
c) We should clothe ourselves with:-
1- Feelings of Compassion.
2- Kindness.
3- Humility.
4- Gentleness.
5- Patience.
d) We should bear with one another.
e) If we have a complaint about somebody else we should forgive them.
f) Just as the Lord has forgiven us – we also should forgive other people.
(This Second one teaches me what it means to be Living As God’s Chosen People. I am challenged and want to live like this)

There are many things written in the Book of Colossians in the Bible that are challenging. It is good for us, as True Believers, to be challenged! We are faced in Colossians not only of reading joyfully about who we are in Christ, but also about how to live life as a True Believer, not only external actions, but inward attitudes too.
