Put An End To Unpleasant Conflicts!

‘Put An End To Unpleasant Conflicts.’
Proverbs 18:18-19.
Much prayer and good will are needed if conflicts between people, especially Church people are going to be resolved. The resolution of conflicts is always possible if it is done in a godly way.
a) Strife must be put to an end, even strife between powerful and mighty people.
b) An offended person is harder to win over than a strong city.
c) The contentions of an offended person are like the window bars of a fortress.
(This QT teaches me that it is necessary to Put An End To Unpleasant Conflicts)

‘We Have A Future.’
Proverbs 23:17-18.
a) We should not let our heart envy sinners.
b) We should always live in the Fear of the Lord.
c) Surely we have a future.
d) If we follow this way our Hope will not be cut off.
(This Second one simply reminds me that I Have A Future)

Chris.
Sometimes offended people are so contentious. This never can resolve any conflict. If conflicts are to be resolved contentious attitudes must be done away with first. Contentious attitudes are like the windows of a jail. It is impossible to get out of them and impossible to get in though them. The only way that these windows can be opened is through prayer and love. If the window opens then there is a chance of reconciliation. I pray that God’s People can put an end to unpleasant conflicts.
