‘The Purity Of Scripture.’
2 Timothy 3:16-17.
a) All Scripture is inspired by God.
b) All Scripture is profitable for teaching (us what is right).
c) All Scripture makes us realise what is wrong in our lives.
d) All Scripture is for correction.
e) All Scripture is for training in Righteousness.
f) All Scripture is given that God’s Servants may be competent.
g) All Scripture is to equip us for every good work.
(This QT helps me to remember The Purity Of Scripture)

‘God’s Word Effective In Us.’
a) 1 Peter 1:23. We are Born Again of imperishable seed.
b) 1 Peter 1:23. We are Born Again through the Living and Abiding Word of God.
c) 1 Peter 1:24-25. All flesh is as grass that withers and fails but the Word of the Lord endures forever.
d) 1 Peter 1:25. God’s Word is the Good News that was and is Preached to us.
(This Second one has me in awe of God’s Word Effective in me. I long to retain His Word, topping up day by day)

This passage in Second Timothy where the Apostle writes about the purity of Scripture is surely challenging to every True Believer. We all need fresh daily manna from God’s Word. Through His Word God works in our lives by the Holy Spirit. To neglect God’s Word is to neglect God Himself.
