‘King Hezekiah’s Manifested Pride.’
Isaiah 39:1-2.
a)       The King of Babylon, Merodach Baladan, sent letters and a gift to King Hezekiah by messengers.
b)      He had heard about Hezekiah’s sickness and recovery.
c)       Hezekiah was so happy. He proudly showed these messengers everything that he had that was of value. He showed everything in his palace and in his Kingdom.

b)      Does many operations in the Church.
c)       The Holy Spirit decides what to give each person.

What the King of Babylon did, he did with a compassionate and rejoicing heart. He had heard about King Hezekiah’s sickness and recovery so he sent a letter and gifts. This is a very lovely action to take. We may say “it was cultural” but sometimes we say that as an excuse for us to do something differently or even do nothing at all.
