2 Timothy 2:16-18.
a) 2 Timothy 2:16. Avoid
discussions that are:-
1- Godless.
2- Profane.
3- Idle.
b) 2 Timothy 2:16. These
things draw people into ungodly behaviour.
c) 2 Timothy 2:17. This
message and these ideas spread like an infection or a cancer.
d) 2 Timothy 2:18. Some
people like Hymenaeus and Philetus deviate from the Truth by claiming that the
Resurrection had already happened – a heresy.
e) 2 Timothy 2:18. This
overthrows the Faith of some people.

Psalm 139:1.
a) Psalm 11:4-5; 17:3. The
Lord examines us.
b) The Lord searches us.
c) 1 Kings 8:39; Jeremiah
12:3. The Lord knows us.

Wrong messages and ideas can spread very quickly. Let us
not encourage the spread of them. We need to both proclaim and live in the
Truth. Some people thrive on wrong messages and ideas, we should not fellowship
with such people.
