2 Timothy 2:5-7.
a) 2 Timothy 2:5. The
Servant of the Lord is contending for a prize.
b) 2 Timothy 2:5. The
Servant of the Lord will only be rewarded if they contend lawfully.
c) 2 Timothy 2:6. The farmer
or husbandman has to labour before partaking of the fruit.
d) 2 Timothy 2:7. We are to
consider and think about these things.
e) 2 Timothy 2:7. The Lord
will give us understanding.

‘Spiritual
Leaders Need To Be Clean And Awake.’
Romans
2:19-22.
a) Romans 2:19. We may have
confidence that we are Spiritual Leaders and Guides of the spiritually blind
people.
b) Romans 2:19. We may be a
light to those people who are in darkness.
c) Romans 2:20. We may be
instructors of foolish people.
d) Romans 2:20. We may be
teachers of spiritual babes who have a form of knowledge and Truth in the Word
of God, but it is very incomplete.
e) Romans 2:21. We who Teach
other people need also to Teach ourselves.
f) Romans 2:21. If we preach
about not stealing then we should not steal.
g) Romans 2:22. We tell
other people not to commit adultery then we should also not commit adultery.
h) Romans 2:22. If we abhor
idols then we should not commit sacrilege.

There are rewards awaiting in Glory for the real and genuine Servant
of the Lord. These rewards are not given to Servants of the Lord who are
careless about their lives and not good stewards of the ministries that God may
have given to them. Along with the calling as a Servant of the Lord there comes
a certain expectation from Him. We should not fail to come up to that Biblical
expectation.
