Be Diligent!


‘Be Diligent.’
a) Proverbs 27:23. In looking after the flock that God has given us.
b) Ezra 5:8. In rebuilding God’s House.
c) Ezra 6:12. In obedience to National Leaders.
d) Proverbs 4:23. In guarding our own hearts.
e) Deuteronomy 4:9. To remember God’s Works.
f) Deuteronomy 6:17. To obey the Commands of the Lord.
g) Deuteronomy 19:18. In the carriage of justice.
h) Proverbs 12:27. To make use of everything we find.
i) Romans 12:11; 1 Timothy 4:15. To work and to serve the Lord.
j) Ephesians 4:3. To keep ourselves united in the Holy Spirit.
k) 2 Timothy 2:15. To receive God’s Approval.
l) Hebrews 4:11. To enter God’s rest.
(This QT encourages me to Be Diligent)

‘Do Not Blame God For Temptations.’
James 1:13.
a) We are to remember this.
b) When we are being tempted we are not to say that God is tempting us.
c) God is never tempted to do wrong.
d) God never tempts anyone else.
(Through this Second one I receive a clear instruction: Do Not Blame God For Temptations)

We should be diligent to do our work and also diligent to serve the Lord. God wants the fruit of diligence to be manifested in our lives. Our working environment may not be easy for us but, as we are confident about working in the Will of God we have Peace and Assurance that God is with us to help us. The same applies in our service for and to the Lord.
