When Christ's Word Dwells Richly In Us!



‘When Christ’s Word Richly Dwells In Us.’
Colossians 3:16-17.
a)    It is something that we need to allow to happen.
b)    It can be in all of its richness.
c)     It should be as we:-
1-  Teach one another.
2-  Counsel one another.
3-  Admonish one another.
d)    We have Wisdom from God.
e)     With gratitude in our hearts to God we sing:-
1-  Psalms.
2-  Hymns.
3-  Spiritual songs.
f)     Everything that we do or say we do it all in the Name of the Lord Jesus.
g)    We give thanks to the Lord Jesus through God the Father.

‘Faith In The Word Of The Lord.’
Matthew 8:5-10.
a)    Matthew 8:5. The Centurion pleaded with Jesus to help him.
b)    Matthew 8:6. The Centurion’s servant was suffering so badly at the Centurion’s home. He was:-
1-  Paralysed.
2-  Suffering terribly.
3-  Grievously tormented.
4-  In terrible pain.
c)     Matthew 8:7. Jesus was willing to go to the Centurion’s home and heal him.
d)    Matthew 8:8. The Centurion trusted in the healing Word of Jesus.
e)     Matthew 8:9. The Centurion understood Authority and knew that Jesus only had to speak the Word and his servant would be healed.
f)     Matthew 8:10. Jesus was amazed at the Faith of this Roman centurion.
(Through this Second one I am encouraged to Have Faith In The Word Of The Lord)

The Centurion’s Servant was suffering terribly and Jesus was willing to go and heal him. Such was the Faith of the Centurion that He told Jesus that there was no need for Him to come to the house. He could speak the Word and the Servant would be healed. Here is a manifestation of Faith. Faith is “Word Centred”, it comes as we receive the Word of God. This response really amazed Jesus and He just spoke the Word and the Servant was healed.
