Disciplined Verbal Spiritual Gifts!


‘Disciplined Verbal Spiritual Gifts.’
1 Corinthians 14:39-40.
a) The True Believers should have a desire to prophesy for this gift brings to the Church:-
1-Edification.
2-Exhortation.
3-Comfort.
b) We should not forbid the gift of diverse languages if the gift is brought in a Biblical and orderly fashion.
c) All things should be done decently and in order.
(This QT encourages me in the ministry of Disciplined Verbal Spiritual Gifts)

‘The Ministry Of A True Minister.’
a) 1 Corinthians 2:2. They concentrate their Message on Jesus Christ and His death on the Cross.
b) Romans 1:1; 2 Timothy 1:11. They should be living as one chosen by God and is a good steward and preacher of the Good News.
c) Acts 2:42. Leads True Believers into the New Testament pattern.

The person who brings words of Comfort to God’s people is surely prophesying to them, according to the Scriptural definition of the Gift of Prophecy. Surely Comfort is one of the greatest needs of God’s people today. This does not refer to a comfortable environment but Comfort in their “inner man”. We who live in nice environments sometimes hanker after more comfort physically but neglect the Comfort that God the Comforter wants to bring to our “inner man”, especially through the Gift of Prophecy.
